Byron J. Fernandez

Byron possesses more than10 years of experience in Call Centre Operations Management. Prior to joining SRG Asia Pacific (SRG AP), Byron was a Call Centre Manager with a leading Malaysian outsourcer, which operated an outbound telemarketing centre. He joined SRG AP in 2003 and has managed numerous organisations’ inbound, outbound and back-office operations, including Measat Broadcast Network Systems (Astro). He now oversees the entire operation of SRG AP.
Byron is CIAC certified in contact centre strategic leadership, and has led SRG AP to attaining major industry awards including the following:

Yunus Tasim
Director, Sales and Marketing |

Yunus has more than 25 years management experience in the IT, education, oil and gas, telecommunications and broadcasting verticals. His principal responsibilities over the past 25 years have been in the areas of operations, strategic management, and business development.
Yunus pioneered the Astro Management Team as Director of Customer Service in 1995. He was involved in the setting up and management of customer operations, billing and collections. Yunus started his career as a systems engineer with IBM Malaysia, developing systems for customers and assisting IBM Marketing in technical sales functions. Upon completion of his master degree, he was employed as Assistant Professor at the College of Business, Western Michigan University, USA; the first Malaysian to be given this honour by the University.
Yunus holds a B. Sc (Hons) and M. Sc. in Computer Sciences from Western Michigan University, USA. He was the recipient of the Young Lecturer Scholarship Award from University Technology Mara and the EXCITE scholarship award from Western Michigan University. Yunus is a founding member and the first Secretary General of Call Centre Association of Malaysia.

Sherwin Tan
Head of Operations |

Sherwin brings to SRG AP, more than 10 years experience in contact center services in high volume, multi-site, and multi-customer environments. He possesses a proven track record in domestic and international start-ups and is experienced in strategic growth and expansion planning as well as aggressive implementations in emerging markets in Asia and Central America. Prior to joining SRG Asia Pacific, he served as the General Manager of PeopleSupport, Inc. (now Aegis PeopleSupport) in Costa Rica for a 500 seat facility, with overall responsibility on build-up and operations.
Previously, he spent 2 years as Sr. Director of Operations for Digital Media Exchange, Inc., an online-gaming marketing firm, where he was responsible for implementing all aspects of game services and call center operations. These functions include vendor selection, contract negotiations, key performance indicators, process and operational design, technology, and training. Before Digital Media Exchange, Inc., he spent 4 years in operations management on technical service accounts of over 600 FTEs on several technical and customer service projects.

Jocelyn Ho
Head of Finance & Administration |

Jocelyn is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She brings to SRG AP over 20 years experience in various financial and management positions which includes the banking industry, where she gained her early exposure to finance, insurance as well as the gaming industry in Malaysia.
She joined the company at inception as a pioneer employee and was responsible for setting up of the financial and reporting systems of the company. Prior to joining SRG AP, Jocelyn held the position of Finance Manager in UTSB Management Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Usaha Tegas Group.
Jocelyn has planned the build up and configuration of 3 different call centre sites and is widely recognized in the Malaysian call centre industry as a leading financial expert in call centre setup and delivery. She is credited with having deployed over 7 different billing methods which tie in financial performance of the company, with the overall results pursued by SRG AP’s clients.
